Take a look behind the scenes of the World’s longest sea-crossing bridge – the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau-Bridge. The 55km bridge-tunnel system consists of a series of three cable-stayed bridges, an undersea tunnel, and four artificial islands. Niro Ceramic Group took up the challenge to supply the flooring for the bridge in 2009. The bridge is supposed to last for 120 years Low water absorption rate – some parts of the bridge is built under the sea thus the flooring should withstand water Innovative and timeless design – after all the bridge is the World’s longestWe’ve used Regal series – the revolutionary porcelain tiles. The result was an elegant World Record sea crossing, completed in 2019 and we are proud to be part of it.
