The Petronas Twin Towers Sky Bridge is the World’s tallest sky bridge connecting two towers on the 41st and 42nd floors. The bridge is designed to slide in and out of the towers to prevent it from breaking as the towers sway several feet in towards and away from each other during high winds. The materials used to build the bridge must be able to withstand such pressure and not result in breaking. Niro Granite porcelain tiles fired at 1200°C when it is manufactured resulting in a compact, high-strength piece of tile that fits the description that the bridge requires.
