Muji – the Japanese retail store founded in 1980, which is now well-known worldwide. Its design philosophy is minimalist, and it places an emphasis on recycling, reducing production, and packaging waste. Our challenge was to complement the store’s minimalist design with flooring material that gives the impression of recycled earth material. Fortunately, our digitally printed tiles closely resemble natural earth materials and this helps bring in the natural and minimalistic looks for Muji.
